Ron Iwamoto is a registered professional engineer, President and managing principal of the firm.  He has designed and supervised numerous complex structural engineering projects ranging from new structures, to the repair, renovation and retrofit of existing structures.  He has experience in designing Public Facilities, Office Buildings, Retail and Commercial Buildings, Apartments and Residential Structures, and Industrial/Warehouse Facilities.  He has performed investigations and assessments of existing structures including Failure Analysis, Due Diligence Studies, and Facilities Assessments.  He has managed and worked on projects in Hawaii, California, Singapore, and other various locations in the Pacific Region.

Eric Tomishima is a registered professional engineer and principal with the firm.  He has designed and managed structural engineering projects ranging from new structures, to the repair, renovation and retrofit of existing structures.  He has experience in designing Public Facilities, Office Buildings, Retail and Commercial Buildings, Residential Structures, and Industrial/Warehouse Facilities.  He has performed assessments of existing building structures including Load & Seismic Analysis, and Wind Analysis.

Juan Gonzalez Jr. is a structural designer with the firm.  He has provided structural engineering design and analysis support to our Structural Engineers for various projects including new structures and the renovation and retrofit of existing structures.  He has experience in the gravity and lateral design of various structural material and has worked on the design of Public Facilities, Educational Facilities, and Residential Structures.

Doren Santoki is a structural designer with the firm.  He has provided structural engineering design and analysis support to our Structural Engineers for various projects including the design of new structures and the renovation and retrofit of existing structures.  He has experience in CADD and modelling utilizing REVIT Structural software having modeled various building structures including multi-story Public and Residential structures, as well as Commercial and Retail structures. 

Ashlyn Uehara is our newest structural designer with the firm.  She has provided structural engineering analysis support to our Structural Engineers for various design and renovation projects.  She has a vast experience with CADD as well as with various structural analysis and design software.  She is currently attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa College of Engineering.

Andrea Iwamoto is the firm’s office manager.  She manages numerous office functions including employee benefits, payroll, and accounts payable and receivable.  She is knowledgeable in the preparation of various proposals and design specifications for various structural materials.
